Scripture of the Week: Luke 1:26 - 56


Message: This week wee learn that an ordinary young girl named Mary was visited by the angel Gabriel. Gabriel told Mary that God had selected her to be the mother of Jesus and she would be having a baby. She was confused because she didn't understand how that could happen. She was engaged to a man named Joseph, but they weren't even married yet.


The angel explained to Mary that with God, nothing is impossible. Mary had great faith in God and accepted this news , even though this would be very hard to explain to people and she was afraid she would be bullied and embarrassed. The angel told her not to be afraid. She will be blessed for the rest of her life. And with that, Mary was at peace and ready to become the mother of the Savior of us all.
